Elegant Cross Wave
This white pearl was cultured in the shape of a Cross. I turned it into a bead because I love it's simplicity in design.
|
The design is dainty. The 14k gold waves are separated by a color enhanced round peacock pearl, flanked by tiny white seed pearls. I've taken care to keep the "chain" sinuous and streamlined in diameter with the beads I've chosen so that the finished look is serious and elegant.

Easter
This pink and white pearl was cultured in the shape of a Cross. I turned it into a bead because I love it's simplicity in design.

Candy Cane
True Red, such a hard color to find in a gemstone! This chalcedony drop has been color enhanced to be this great red color. The other accent beads in this pearl necklace are very rare natural red spinels, the last that I have of these beautiful red gemstones. The pearls are color enhanced fresh water, cultured pearls. It is strung to 19.5" on a durable synthetic string that moves like silk but won't shred, stretch, or fray like silk. It also has a 14k gold lobster claw clasp.

Cool Tones Jasper Necklace
I designed this unique line of necklaces that mixes unusual pieces of jasper with sparkly facetted gemstones. This particular jasper is a large facetted teardrop with a brown and teal pattern that has 3 white ripples racing diagonally across the surface.
|
|
It has 14k gold accent beads and lobster claw clasp. This necklace has great textures because of all of the different shapes and sizes of the beads. The colors and patterns of the central jasper is mimicked in the jasper tube beads. The large, facetted green fluorites and round apatites add play of light and a level of brightness to the necklace because they are translucent, whereas the jaspers are opaque. The finishing touch is the small, gold color enhanced freshwater, cultured pearls. It is strung to 18.75 inches on a durable synthetic string that moves like silk but won’t shred, stretch, or fray like silk.

Moss Agate Necklace
I designed this unique line of necklaces that mixes unusual pieces of jasper with sparkly facetted gemstones. This necklace is so bright and fresh!
|
The Moss agate central stone is facetted and the green pattern is beautiful. It is strung with white topaz, blue and green fluorite polyhedron beads, and silvery blue color enhanced freshwater, cultured pearls. You cannot see the back of the necklace so what happens after the third fluorite polyhedron is silver blue pearls and white topaz alternating for about 2 more inches and then silvery blue pearls finish the piece. It is strung to 17” on a durable synthetic string that moves like silk but won’t shred, stretch, or fray like silk.
$185

Reversible Jasper Necklace
This smooth jasper bead is so different on each side that you may have trouble deciding which side to show off.
|
It is strung with a lacy segment of green color enhanced freshwater cultured pearls and green tourmalines, and finished with facetted moss agates. It has a sterling silver spring ring clasp and is strung on a durable synthetic string that moves like silk but won't shred, stretch or fray like silk.
$145.

Jasper Lace Necklace in Green
This rather uniformly green smooth jasper drop is dressed up with green color enhanced freshwater cultured pearls and blue green facetted tourmaline beads.
|
It has a 14k gold lobster claw clasp and is strung on a durable synthetic string that moves like silk but won't shred, stretch or fray like silk.
$295.

Speckled Jasper Drop Necklace
This facetted jasper drop is white with dark speckles. I used coordinating facetted Botswana agate accents and white corn shaped pearls.
|
It is strung on a durable synthetic string that moves like silk but won't shred, stretch or fray like silk. It has a sterling silver spring ring clasp.
$145.

Iolite Wave necklace
These are beautiful iolites in the true briolette cut. The beads are 14k waves and flowers give them the finishing touch. It is 16” long, on a durable synthetic string that moves like silk but won’t shred, stretch, or fray like silk. You may not know this, but high quality iolite is so hard to find right now, and that is why no one is talking about iolite!
|
They became so hard to get that all talk of them has vanished! It is like what happened to alexandrite, the real June birthstone. Did you know that in the 1920s, and 1930s you could buy alexandrite at the local jewelers as if it were amethyst today. Then it became mined out and the price rose so high that no one even talked about it because only the super rich could afford it (until now because after 76 years they finally found a new alexandrite mine-but I digress.) Well this is what I’ve noticed with iolite. Let us give this piece a wonderful home. It would also look great layered with any of the wave necklaces if you already have one…
$795.

Pastel Paddle Necklace
As the seasons change I find my color combinations do as well.
|
With spring right around the corner I find myself attracted to pastels and soft, bright colors. This facetted teardrop necklace is all tourmaline except for the first stone which is an aquamarine. The pearls are about 5 or 6mm in diameter. It is 14k gold with a lobster claw clasp.
$450

Red Hat Paddle Necklace
I received a commission from a lovely lady who just joined the red hat club to make a necklace with purple and red beads. Hers was different, of course, but it is an intense color combination that I have long loved.
|
|
The smooth, large red drop in this necklace is color enhanced chalcedony. The paddles are amethyst beads in the true briolette cut (Did you know that the briolette cut originated in jewelry from the Victorian period? What is old is new again!) The smooth roundels are the last of some very high end red spinels that I have been sparingly using-but there are a lot in this piece! The finishing touch is the facetted royal purple amethysts that top off this piece. It s 20.5 inches long and is strung on a durable synthetic string that moves like silk but won’t shred, stretch, or fray like silk.
$325.
