I met artist Karen Bye in Tucson last year. She is doing what I always wished I knew how to do. She is making small, wearable perfume bottle pendants. They are just gorgeous. The tops really open and you can actually use them with essential oils or just wear them because they are so pretty. I have strung this vessel with peach and silver color-enhanced, freshwater, cultured pearls and iolites.
The beads on this jasper necklace are expertly matched to the colors of the focal bead pendant. My friend Lindsay designed this necklace, “she’s come a long way, Baby!” Sterling daisy beads are painstakingly strung between each bead of green jasper, facetted garnets, and peach aventurines. The different textures of the beads add so much to the overall design that you have to feel it to fully appreciate this piece.

The pendant on this necklace is jasper. It is strung with natural-color peach, freshwater, cultured seed pearls and micro onyx accents. The bail is sterling silver. This brick red jasper necklace has bronze freshwater, cultured, color-enhanced pearls accented by daisies and an intensely red coral bead. My instinct is that the coral is dyed but I bought them so long ago, I can’t recall if I asked. I think these red coral beads were the first I ever bought way back in 1989! This necklace is strung to 16” on a durable wire with a soldered sterling spring ring clasp.
Maine Artist artist Sandy Isgro made this glass owl bead. I just love the colors. It is teamed with silver bezel set amber (I think). It is strung on citrines to 20.25" long. The total pendant dimensions are 2" x 1".
