This fancy sapphire necklace is graced with 5 different color 6 x 4mm sapphires. One each of orange, green, yellow, blue, and redish pink. Lots of people don't know that sapphires grow in different colors. The design is a 14k gold wave design and it is strung on smooth roundel sapphires to 17 1/4" with a 14k gold lobster claw clasp.
These gorgeous earthy hues of greenish tourmaline baguette beads are so pretty that each one is a focal piece in and of itself. It is strung to 15 3/8" with a 14k gold magnetic clasp.
I am not holding anything out on you now as these are my best, huge tourmaline briolettes in reds and greens accented by microfacetted sapphires leaning mostly toward the golden colors but there is a little bit of every color included! The quality, clarity and size of these tourmalines are all outstanding and I won't be able to replace them. I have been hoarding these tourmalines for myself for over a decade! This remarkable necklace is a statement piece with an unusual color combination. It is 16 1/4" long with a 14k gold lobster claw clasp.
This is a classic Aragona Design called the Mother Earth Necklace. It features an Australian Black opal as the star of the piece. The black opal is set in 22k gold with 14k gold design elements including a generous hammered sun. It is strung to 17 7/8" on kyanite and yellow sapphire facetted beads with a 14k gold traditional pearl clasp.
This bright boulder opal is bezel set in sterling silver with a carnelian facetted bead dangle. It is strung to just under 16' in length with a sterling silver spring ring clasp. The beads are facetted neon apatite and carnelians. It a colorful yet delicate statement.
This classic seaglass necklace has a piece of seaglass that was clearly part of a beer bottle rim. It looks transformed in this pretty design with a blue topaz set in a tiny 14k bezel embedded into it and a coordinating beer-bottle-brown tourmaline dangle. The sea glass is bezel set in fine silver with a solid sterling silver back. It is strung with smooth roundel sapphire accents and facetted cinnamon zircons to 15 7/8" in length. This necklace is currently for sale in Island Artisans Gallery in Bar Harbor, please contact me before purchasing so I can check if it is still available.
This pretty boulder opal is bezel set in sterling silver with link design elements. It is strung to 16 1/2" with micro-facetted iolite, peridot, and apatite beads that pick up the opal's flash. The rest is finished with a neutral andalusite bead that picks up the rich browns and tans in the body color in the opal. It has a sterling silver lobster claw clasp.
This is one of my favorite classic seaglass necklaces. It has a fine silver bezel and a solid sterling back to it so it is a little brighter and more reflective than the seaglass pieces without metalwork. The glass is a nice neutral color to coordinate with everything and it has a blue topaz set in a tiny 14k gold bezel embedded into it. It is strung with a segment of rainbow facetted tourmaline roundels towards the front to add a splash of color. There is a pink tourmaline smooth drop accenting the seaglass for a delicate, feminine look.
So I guess I'm feeling the love by some crazy universal twist of fate therefore, I made two gorgeous Valentine's Day necklaces this year. This one is black onyx, pink tourmalines and garnets. It is a deliberate lucky-charm necklace/texture necklace/paddle necklace hybrid. It is strung to 17 3/4" long with a sterling spring ring clasp.
This year's "Valentine Necklace" is a stunning and feminine briolette "lucky-charm" style paddle necklace with rubies, amethyst, iolites and garnets. It is strung to 18" with a sterling silver spring ring clasp.
I think these materials are perfect! They are the most gorgeous blue-green tourmaline briolettes I have ever seen in a "lucky-charm" assortment of shapes and sizes for variety and interest. Mixed between the beautiful briolettes are watermelon tourmaline facetted roundels and that theme carries into the back with pink and seafoam green segments spanning the necklace. It is strung to 16 1/2" long with a sterling spring ring clasp.
The indicolite and watermelon tourmaline leaves in this piece were skillfully carved with dimension and balance making this a graceful necklace fit for a princess or a classy understated, elegant woman. This design is quite symmetrical and conservative with it's classic freshwater, cultured pearl stringing and lobster claw clasp. It measures 18 1/4" long.
This piece is feminine yet bold. It is perfect for summer with a pretty sun dress or winter on a soft pastel cashmere sweater. The huge Australian boulder opal has swirls of neutral tans, lavender, peach, coral and mauve. It is strung with a light mix of the most sparkly micro-facetted, pastel tourmaline briolettes spaced by the covetted 14k gold wave beads that are no longer available. Even though I search my heart out for the waves at every gem show.
I believe this stone is called Tiger Jasper but if it is not, then it should be. Fashion forward, light a breezy but neutral pallete to wear with anything, this piece is an office winner. It is teamed with a beautiful rusty peach tourmaline facetted briolette dangle. It is bezel set in fine and sterling silver and strung to 16 1/2" on freshwater, cultured, color enhanced cream pearls. There are facetted sunstone roundel accents to pop out that rust tourmaline drop. this piece has a sterling silver plunger clasp.
This sleek Australian Opal has an overall olive bodycolor so I've teamed it up with some olive dancing pearls and a watermelon tourmaline drop for a little punch of color. It is a great piece for everyday wear and for the office because it is feminine but not too flashy. It is bezel set in fine and sterling silver and is strung to 18 3/8' with a sterling spring ring clasp.
Beautiful Rose D' France Amethyst Bracelet. These are the prettiest amethyst briolettes I have ever seen and I have been hoarding them in the safe for many years. Wish I were the lucky lady who gets to add these to her jewelry box for daily wear! It is a bold look as these are quite large briolettes. The length is 7 5/8.
This is my favorite opal bracelet that I've ever made. It is Australian boulder opals with Lapis and seed pearls. It has a 14k gold lobster claw clasp. It measures 7 1/2" in length.
The gorgeous watermelon tourmaline in this ring naturally occured in a heart shape. It is very beautiful but not perfect since it has some rainbows and fractures. I like to think of these fractures as a true depiction of the "heart sentiment" since we all have some war wounds. This heart stone is worthy of being bezel set in 22k gold with a 14k gold shank. The size is approximately 6 1/2.
This necklace has a piece of Maine sea glass with a citrine in a tiny 14k gold bezel set into the sea glass. It is strung on fresh water, cultured, color-enhanced pearls and has a sterling silver spring ring clasp as well as a sterling silver bail.
