Lupine
I met artist Karen Bye in Tucson last year.
She is doing what I always wished I knew how
to do. She is making small, wearable perfume
bottle pendants. They are just gorgeous. The
tops really open and you can actually use
them with essential oils or just wear them
because they are so pretty. I have strung
this vessel with peach and silver color-enhanced,
freshwater, cultured pearls and iolites. It
has vermeil (gold over sterling silver) and
sterling silver daisy accents in the front.
This necklace is strung to 17.75” on
a durable wire with a soldered sterling spring
ring clasp. The perfume bottle measures 1.5” x
.7/8”.
