Baby Blue Swirl
Perfume Bottle Necklace
I met artist Karen Bye in Tucson last year.
She is doing what I always wished I knew how
to do. She is making small, wearable perfume
bottle pendants. They are just gorgeous. The
tops really open and you can actually use
them with essential oils or just wear them
because they are so pretty. I have strung
this vessel with blue color-enhanced, freshwater,
cultured pearls and sterling silver daisies
in an alternating pattern the whole way around
the neck. It has a vermeil (gold over sterling
silver) accent in the front. This necklace
is strung to 16” on a durable wire with
a soldered sterling spring ring clasp. The
perfume bottle measures 1.5” x .75”.
