Baby Blue Monet
Perfume Bottle Necklace
I met artist Karen Bye in Tucson last year.
The little dot in the lower right hand edge
of this pendant is her signature. She is doing
what I always wished I knew how to do. She
is making small, wearable perfume bottle pendants.
They are just gorgeous. The tops really open
and you can actually use them with essential
oils or just wear them because they are so
pretty. This is her “Monet” in
robins egg blue. I have strung it with smooth,
round apatites and mauve color-enhanced, freshwater,
cultured pearls. It has a vermeil (gold over
sterling) daisy and sterling silver daisy
accents. This necklace is strung to 19.5” on
a durable wire with a soldered sterling spring
ring clasp. The perfume bottle measures 1.25” x
7/8”.
