The Earthy
Goddess.
A trio of opals in earthy colors comprise
this 22K and 14K gold pendant. These are boulder
opals (opals still in the ironstone host rock
in which it naturally grows) with intense
teal, green, blue flash that doesn’t
show well in the photo. My initial thought
on this piece was to make a series called “Trail
Markers.” It morphed into a goddess
instead. To accentuate the earthy colors in
the pendant, I have strung emeralds, tanzanite,
blue and cinnamon zircons. This piece measures
19.75” long and has a lobster claw clasp.
$3900.
